Facility Rules and Regulations

By accessing or parking at any PIREX Solutions facility, you agree to the following terms. Violations may result in immediate removal, forfeiture of fees, termination of parking privileges, and/or referral to law enforcement.

1. Access & Entry

  • Facility access is restricted to authorized commercial vehicles and credentialed drivers.

  • Valid government-issued photo ID, CDL, and confirmed reservation or active tenant credentials are required at check-in.

  • Passenger vehicles and unauthorized visitors are not permitted without prior written approval.

  • Tailgating or piggybacking behind another vehicle is strictly prohibited.

2. Parking

  • Park only in assigned or designated spaces. Double-parking, blocking drive aisles, or parking in fire lanes is prohibited.

  • Parking brakes must be fully engaged and wheels chocked where required.

  • Drivers are responsible for securing their own cargo, trailers, and cab. PIREX provides perimeter security but does not assume responsibility for unlocked or unsecured vehicles.

  • Vehicles left unmoved for 72+ hours without prior arrangement may be tagged and towed at the owner’s expense.

3. Hours & Conduct

  • Facility access hours are posted at each location. Plan entry and exit accordingly unless enrolled in a 24/7 access program.

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Excessive noise, engine braking, horn use, and loud music are prohibited during this period.

4. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on facility grounds:

  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized controlled substances.

  • Firearms, explosives, or undeclared hazardous materials.

  • Open flames, grilling, or unauthorized cooking outside designated areas.

  • Solicitation, loitering, or unapproved commercial activity.

  • Vehicle washing, repair, or maintenance within parking spaces (except in designated bays).

  • Dumping trash, waste, oil, coolant, or other fluids.

  • Alcohol consumption. Intoxicated individuals will be removed immediately.

5. Hazardous Materials

  • Hazmat loads must be declared at check-in, including cargo class and quantity.

  • Hazmat vehicles must park only in designated spaces, maintaining required separation distances.

  • Drivers of hazmat loads must remain reachable via 24-hour emergency contact while on-site.

6. Security & Surveillance

  • Facilities are monitored by video surveillance, perimeter sensors, and/or on-site security personnel. Entry constitutes consent to recording.

  • Tampering with security equipment is prohibited and will be prosecuted.

  • Report suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals to facility staff immediately.

7. Idling & Environment

  • Extended idling is prohibited. Use APUs, electrified parking, or shore power where available.

  • Idling in excess of 5 minutes is prohibited unless required for safety or extreme weather.

  • Drivers and carriers are solely responsible for compliance with local, state, and federal anti-idling laws.

8. Amenities

  • Restrooms, showers, and common areas are for authorized users only. Vandalism or misuse will result in removal and billing for damages.

  • Wi-Fi is for lawful use only and is monitored for security purposes.

  • Food and vending items are for personal consumption only.

9. Liability

  • PIREX maintains insurance for facility infrastructure only. We do not insure cargo, vehicles, or personal property.

  • Drivers and carriers are solely responsible for maintaining adequate cargo, physical damage, and liability coverage.

  • PIREX is not liable for theft from unlocked or unsecured vehicles, weather or natural disaster damage, negligence of other facility users, or consequential damages including lost revenue or perishable goods.

10. Emergencies

  • In case of fire, medical emergency, or security threat, call 911 immediately, then notify facility staff.

  • Emergency exits, fire lanes, and muster points must remain clear at all times.

11. Enforcement

  • Violations may result in warning, immediate removal, forfeiture of fees, denial of future reservations, reporting to carrier management or law enforcement, and civil liability for damages caused.

  • PIREX reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or carrier for any reason, including repeated violations or safety concerns.
